Compability with Vista Ultimate...
Nov 25th, 2009 at 5:36am

Hi Al.
I am planning to move the database from a computer with Windows XP to a laptop with Windows Vista. Is this possible and how do I proceed to do this in a safe way. I also want to upgrade to unlimited items, should this be done at the same time?

Keep up the good work! Smiley

In answer to your questions
Important Note:If you are installing to the 64-bit version of Vista or Windows 7. Do not install TrackPro to the default folder. Install it to c:\trackpro.
Yes you can move the database; proceed as follows:
  1. Backup your Trackpro.mdb file to a safe location.
  2. Install the latest version of TrackPro on the laptop.
  3. Copy the original TrackPro.mdb file to the installation folder usually located at c:\program files\trackpro.
  4. I can upgrade the installation in place after I receive payment from Paypal or you call me with a Purchase order Number.
